At T&R Welding Systems, we have the resources to provide high quality, built-to-print and fully functional fabrications with demonstrable structural and operation integrity. The lift jack pictured here highlights our diverse range of fabrication capabilities.
Constructed from high strength grade A572 steel, the lift jack consisted of four parts and had overall finished dimensions of 4’ in width, 5’ in depth, and 22’ in height. We fabricated, machined, and welded the components, painted them a custom yellow, and finished them by assembling the hydraulics and electrics. In addition to conducting visual and dimensional inspections to verify we met the ±.003” tolerances, we built a dedicated test fixture to confirm that the hydraulics provided enough pressure to meet the stated lifting capacity and that the lift was structurally sound to repeatedly withstand heavy loads.
By utilizing quality raw material, precision fabrication techniques, and generating distortion-free, high durability welds, we were able to supply a product that would provide a long useful service life under high load conditions. We built four units in a seven week timeframe.
