At T&R Welding Systems we were recently contracted to fabricate the steel tube frames highlighted here for a customer in the computer industry to be used in a clean room environment.
This frame featured finished dimensions of 6’ in width, 7’ in depth, 8’ in height, and was fabricated from mild steel. We welded and assembled this assembly to strict industry guidelines to keep it free from dust due to its ultimate use in a computer chip testing system. A powder coated beige finish and a chem film gold plating was also provided for ultimate protection from corrosion and scratching.
Extensive quality measures are also incorporated and included dimensional verification of the ±.003” tolerance requirement as well as visual inspection of surface and coating characteristics. We continue to fabricate these steel tube chip frames at the rate of 750-1,000 units on an annual basis, and we are proud to say they are used in semiconductor processing and testing facilities around the globe.
